Flooring underlay is installed beneath a flooring system, such as carpet, hardwood, laminate or LVT flooring. The purpose of a flooring underlay is to provide an additional layer of cushioning and support, as well as to protect the subfloor from moisture, noise, and temperature fluctuations.
