Perimeter or compensating tapes

Perimeter or compensating tapes are used with concrete screed floors around the edges of a room to absorb the expansion gap by temperature variations.

Overview

Perimeter or edging strip for screeds and concrete slabs that allows the perimeter dilatation of the traditional or thermal floating screeds, allows the shrinkage of the concrete to be absorbed when the temperature varies.

Permeter strip acts as a thermal bridge to prevent moisture crossing and reduce heat loss and noise once the screed has been laid.
